Tour Itinerary

Your tour will start by a pick up from your hotel in Cairo around (07:00 am) for a 3 hours drive to the city with a rest stop on the way if required , after arrival your first visit will be to the roman catacombs which is a multi burial place built in the roman time however it has a lot of ancient Egyptian influence on it , the catacombs are three storey under the ground , then you will have the opportunity of visiting the hall of Caracalla through a short cut under the ground and there you will learn that it was incorrectly to be named as such . the next visit will be over the ground to pompey's pillar which is an 82 foot granite column built to honor emperor Diocletian for feeding the besieged city, after lunch (additional cost of 50EGP/pp) you will visit the roman amphitheatre which is possibly considered as the most well preserved roman monument in Egypt the roman amphitheatre was also roman streets and homes during the roman period in Egypt. Your last visit will be to the library of Alexandria which finally caught the attention of the world and was entirely rebuilt over the same location of the ancient one to be nowadays one of the biggest libraries in the world containing more than 4.5 million books.
At the end of your tour you will be returned back to Cairo around (18:00) with a stop on the way if required.
